Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model as well as an animal rights activist in the US. Ali MacGraw is known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Born and raised in an artistic family living in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. Then she moved on to modeling and acting. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged as a winner of her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, MacGraw was declared one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. In Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she was able to have her signature and hand-footprints engraved. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
